Modern Times may not contain a single song that would rank among Dylan's all-time best, but it doesn't have to.

Intriguing, immediate, and quietly epic, Modern Times must rank among Dylan's finest albums.

Modern Times is not one of those infrequent, unequivocally fantastic Dylan albums that allow a non-believer to grasp what the fuss is about, or at least what the fuss was originally rooted in.

Compared to dylan's previous albums, this one lacks of deepnes and heartfeeling. Anyways its a goog piece of work but shouldn't be ranked among dylan's best |

Dylan has found a voice that I am not sure he knew he had? This is a great album that would make my top 50 of all time! |

Dylan is the best! I'm from Russia. There are many fans of Bob here. But as for the last album it's not the best. |

probably his most original work since "blonde on blonde." every baby-boomer Dylan fan should listen closely. I promise you will find great things with each succesive listening to this most astonishing work of a master in his prime. |

Bob Dylan has a strange nasally voice, and after hearing this album I thought I was going to shove rusty nails in my ears. Seriously Bob Dylan, you're music was good but now it's just getting annoying. |

Not as good as "love and theft" but still a thing of beauty. An absolutely fantastic record. |
