Waited for the store to open when this was released and was not dissapointed in the least. I was worried they would bust after "We Are Not Alone" which was 1 of the best albums of 2004. I was hoping it would be a good album, it beat that this might be the 1 of the best top to bottom . Evil Angel might be the bands best song yet, which is a hard list to crack with epic tracks on each disc.

I personally think phobia is a great album but I think 2004's we are not alone was much better and had more of a heavy rock sound to that album compared to this one.... phobia has more of a light rock sound to it, comparing it to we are not alone....... its still a great album and recommend it to any Breaking Benjamin fan

I've been a Ben fan for years now, and I can't believe what I read from everyone else... This isn't an awful album, but seriously... with each album they've lost edge and identity, finishing up with this rather blah record. There are definitely some good songs on it, Diary of Jane and You Fight Me are by far the best (and the only ones to stand out from the rest) but overall they could have done better. It is still a good listen for fans, but perhaps Ben could get off the overly beaten path to generic alt rock.

I love Phobia. I love how it transends from heavy, to soft, with powerfull lyrics. Saturate was by far the heaviest of the albums. The only problem with all the albums together is that guitar riffs and such can be pretty repitive, but still, I absolutely love breaking benjamin.

Never got there other cds before, but heard a lot of there older singles which are very good, but this CD has to be, My favorite rock cd in recent time, or maybe ever. what a voice Ben has, other group leaders should listen to his voice and learn from it. Not to take away anything from other great rock bands, but this guys for real, and I have to say the best front man, I've heard in a long ass time. Great melody, way to put it all together, GREAT CD.

i love breaking benjamin, and i think this album is good, but it is definatly not their best...this album doesnt rock as hard as their last two, and the review from liveDaily above is horrible...how can you even put tool and creed in the same sentence and not cringe...to compare Breaking Benjamin to the fags from creed is an insult to BB and as much as i like BB to compare them to tool is an insult to maynard, who is a lyrical and musical genius...thats just my opinion

This album is pretty good. It was the first I've heard of BB and it took me a while to actually like it, but one day I was like "Holy crap, I like Breaking Benjamin." The only problem is that all the songs follow a pattern, guitar intro-lyrics-guitar solo-end lyrics. It gets a little predictable. But overall it's good.

After seeing Breaking Benjamin in concert, I went home and began searching for all of their work. I have not heard an album of this caliber since the release of the Evanescence single "Wake me up". If there were more albums like "Phobia" and "We are not alone", the music scene would be much different. "Dance with the Devil", "Evil Angel", "Breath", "Unknown Soldier" and "Diary of Jane" all prove that strong guitar riffs and melodic vocals can interchange with one another. These guys opened for Nickelback, and in my opinion, were the better of the two.

I bought this album a few days after its release [I wasn't in town to buy it]. I'm not entirely sure as if there's been a day that I haven't listened to at least one of the tracks on this album. "Unknown Soldier" is by far my favorite on this one, though "Breath" and "Evil Angel" aren't far behind. This album is, without a doubt, my favorite of all three of their albums. Saturate was amazing in its time. As good as W.A.N.A. was, to me it just seemed like an album the band used to catch its breath. Good, but not good as before, and not good as what's to come. Overall impression, many months after debut: Purchase it. Download it. Steal it. It doesn't matter how, just listen to it!

Tool is a much better band than Breking Benjamin at the moment but (although I think Tool is still getting better) I think Breaking Benjamin has the potential to reach that level. This album is they're best ever. how could someone NOT like it. if they don't, they've got issues. i like how they started out tho. Saturate was hard metal for a start, We Are Not Alone kept it going, but more of some slower songs, and finally, they're masterpiece. This album should be honored as if it were a king. Breaking Benjamin is my favorite band and my fav. songs are The Diary of Jane, Breath and Simple Design. I can't wait for their Senior Album!!! ROCK ON!!!!

I read the comments about this album being soft, but in my humble opinion thats not the case. The group is growing as a band, and naturally maturing. I mean take Green Day's American Idiot, was a far cry from their album Dookie. You can't expect a band to sound the same forever, they have to evolve and grow and of course better themselves. I think the writing on Phobia is great and I do have admit that Ben's voice isn't quite as harsh or raspy as it was on the previous albums.
