The album is at its best when listened to as a whole - each track leading into the next, each mood set and re-set with each passing song. It's therefore difficult to pick only a handful of "stand-out" tracks as each fits perfectly in its place amongst the others.

Most accurately described as a singer/songwriter in the ilk of Damien Rice and Joshua Radin, but requiring less work to embrace than either, Cary Brothers is required listening for a developing generation of fans of smart, heartfelt, original music, and Who You Are should quickly find its way to the top of their rotation.

Who You Are is a collection of eleven new songs with a bonus version of “Blue Eyes,” which was the “Garden State” song. Not only is this album a coming of age for the Nashville native, it’s his best work yet and something that is sure to expand his fan base even further.
