This is one of the better albums I've heard in a long time...Probably the best...at least as far back as Slippery When Wet...It's not over, Over you, Sorry, All these lives, There and back again...Usually it takes at least two albums to come up with this many good songs but Daughtry has it in one.

Maybe I'm biased because I rooted for Chris on American Idol, but I really like his album. I think his voice is amazing and the album really captures the best assets of his voice. Losing American Idol probably was the best thing that could've happened to him because he could make this album. All in all, it's a gud sing-along-to rock abum with songs that just wont get out of your head.

I honestly can not find ONE song on here that I dont absolutely love! I absolutely LOVED Chris from the day he auditioned, and he was the one I was rooting for the whole time, and I will buy EVERY CD that comes out from him, he is great, and he really shows his talent in this cd! I am not a HUGE rock fan, but I definately love him, and a few other rockers, but my favorite cd is now DAUGHTRY!!

Losing was the best thing that could of happened, because he got to make his type of CD. I'm usually not a big fan of rock but this CD blew me away. Very captivating lyrics and music!

This is a solid album. Chris has a great voice and there's not a single bad song. I hope for a little more of the "hard" stuff on his next album, but I've got no complaints with this one. I highly recommend it.

this really is one of the best albums ive heard in a long time. i loved him since day 1 on american idol and he was the one that i wanted to win all along. i listened to a clip of two of his songs on itunes and i absolutely loved it, so i jsut HAD to buy the whole album...it turns out that i LOVE IT! chris rocks, and you all should buy the abum and just listen to the words...they are really meaningful and can relate to everybody in some way.

I think that if Chris hadn't been knocked off American Idol when he did, he wouldnt be nearly as popular as he is now. Daughtry is a great band and there is a reason he is on billboards "hot 100"...because there music is awesome.

I thought this was a good album. Chris had very good control over his voice, the music itself was heartfelt and catchy and I enjoy listening to it. The only negative part is some of the lyrics. While a good percentage of the tracks are very well written others have very general words with nothing really gripping lyrics wise. It doesn't take away from the album much and I still recommend it highly. Personally my favorite trakcs are It's Not Over, Used To, Crashed, There and Back Again and All These Lives. It's not as hard or dark as an album as I expected but with time I think that Chris will turn to his edgier side.Overall a good album.

I watched Daughtry for the first time in American Idol - it was in April and I fall in love with him instantly. His voice is addictive and his charisma and persona is infectious. I found this album slightly boring. Most of the songs sounded the same, and it just wasn't unique. There was absolutely NOTHING unique about it. And it was too pop-ish, in my opinion. I would have expected Chris to make it more rock-ish. It was better than I had expected, but still very mediocre. There were a few decent songs.

Every song on this cd sounds the same. They sart out kind of mellow and then he starts with that yelling that everyone thinks is rock. A good singer can sing (Steve Perry) a good rock song without having to yell it at us. I also find it hard to understand what the hell hes saying in most of the songs. Its boring...listen to the first song and you've pretty much heard the whole thing. I wish I could return it for something else.

I think Chris Daughtry made the best decision by not join Fuel in persuit of release his own work with his band. I found the CD by chance on the internet and I´ve enjoyed it since. It was a nice rock surprise to find this songs...also the acoustic version of "Home" and "Crashed" are amazing...way to go Chris!!

This CD is awesome! Chris is such an amazing singer. He doesn't just have a certain look or personality like they always talk about on American Idol. He's got it all. I just caught him in concert the other night and he was great!! His voice sounds excellent even live. Although there are ways the CD could be better, I think it's a great start to his career and MUCH MUCH better than most other American Idols, excluding Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, but give Daughtry some time. :)

I love Chris as well as the rest fo the band. I have the CD and I always listen to it. I love it!! RollingStone says that they are to emotional but I think thats a good thing. Some of the songs have the same sound but I think thats why I like it so much. I love them and I think that they will go a very long way and will be able to last a long time.

Well I was curious to see just what he was made of after he left Idol, personally I think he's the best idol ever, so i bought the album and kept an open mind...after listening to it all i've come to the decision that he is amazing. He reminds me of Nickleback, but with a hint of something i just can't put my finger on. A must have for any true rock fans.

I don't watch American Idol and generally think the winners suck (the only two exceptions to date being Chris and Kelly Clarkson) but Daughtry really surprised me.
