Release: 1 May 2007
Label: Equal Vision Records
Genre: Rock

AbsolutePunk Rating: 8.1

Manipulator is a mixed bag of top-notch music that is successful most of the time in its intentions, but falls flat sometimes in execution. On first listen, the changes may be off-putting, but if you look deep down beneath the new coat of paint, this is still the same The Fall Of Troy. If you are scared of progression, than the aptly titled Manipulator may not be for you, but if you are willing to accept the band's musical evolution, then you will be rewarded with a solid album that, despite some weak moments, has some serious growing potential.   Full text...

its a great album dont get me wrong.. its not like doppelganger but its imposible to beat that anyhow. i mean there sitll are cathy guitar shreds/riffs A man a plan a canal panam (the last track on the album) bring out although true, but not like everything else. There really is no specific fall of troy sound.
