On Get The Gore, Gore Gore Girls walk a fine line between affected self-awareness and the distillation of some of rock music's cherished moments: rockabilly, 60's girl groups (such as The Shangri-Las and The Ronettes), and Motor-City jam-kickers (a la MC5 and The Stooges). With mini-dresses and knee high boots, the girls wear their allegiances on the outside, meaning nothing's too surprising on the inside of Get The Gore.
