This is an amazing pop record that I’ve been craving for the longest time, not just from the Goo Goo Dolls, but from any band.

Goos have remained rock star cool and brought us a solid set of well-crafted rock tunes with Let Love In. Welcome back, gentlemen.

Though the album and its production have almost put the kibosh on the Goo’s alt rock flare (a major minus), the band makes up for it in each song’s stellar crafting. Not recommended to rock out in the car to, but definitely one to crank up at night in your room.

Let Love In burns with the same slightly cheesy Springsteenian passion as the Dolls' multiplatinum records, with Johnny Rzeznik working up ragged gold sounds in his everyman drawl on catchy prom ballads like "Better Days."

A fairly decent set of mid-tempo guitar pop that’s likely to be blaring from an Adult Alternative radio station near you every time you turn the dial.

All in all, Let Love In is not a bad album. It would enjoyably help to while away an hour's driving, but those seeking a little more punch will have to look elsewhere.

Their punk roots are virtually nowhere to be found on Let Love In; now it's all overblown power chords, tambourines, and lovelorn lyrics.

Music for people who don't really like music. An album for people who find Bon Jovi too heavy and threatening.

I just love the album and the guys. This album has feelings and truth. Its got soul. Not like some of these rap songs that just deal with guns, killing and cheating and words that just rime. These are songs with feelings. great job guys. |

This is, I admit, a very biased opinion, but I really find it hard to find flaw with this CD. I do find a few in Robbie's songs, even though I love him to bits, I love all the Goo's, but I just simply do not like his voice. I love how he writes his songs, but I feel that they would be more successful if Johnny sung them. I feel all the songs in this album are full of meaningful lyrics and are beautifully written, especially "Can't Let It Go" and " Feel The Silence" But, there you go, I am a HUGE Goo fan and would say that I guess. I'm giving it a 10 out of 10 because it is fantastic and if you love Johnny's sexy voice, and his heartfelt lyrics, get this CD cos there's more of him then ever!lol But, if Robbie's your guy, it might not be the CD for you. Peace out and enjoy! xXxXx |

Will really ease your pain when you feel lonely. This album was a great comeback for these Buffalo Natives (Also my home town). From beginning of track 1, to the conclusion of track 11, you won't wanna take off the headphones. |

deffinetly not one of the goos better albums. compared to the old stuff this isnt good at all. it seems like they've lost there passion for rock and sold out to pop. i'll always love the goo goo dolls, especiall albums like dizzy up the girl and gutterflower. but let love in just doesn't cut it. |
