The production of Lars Frederiksen is an obvious directional influence, as you can tell that he has played his part in conjuring a cocky strut, also adding the odd atmospheric touch to keep you on your toes.

As a whole, Hellbound and Heartless is uninspired whiny nonsense. The two or three tracks that do elicit some sort of positive response are simply not enough to make up for this atrocious effort.

The band can play their instruments, they can sing, they can feign passion, and they no doubt even look the part but so what? What Lars Frederiksen, Joan Jett, et al were thinking when they signed up to this gutless project is anybody's guess. Hellbound and Heartless is an apt title for this album. Now back to Appetite For Destruction by "the gunners" for me! You are advised to do the same, or read a book even.
