The cool and removed nature of Lopez's voice leaves this album in the realm of unadventurous pop. And perhaps that is all it is meant to be.

The problem is that Lopez easily ages herself by a decade or two. In other words, Mama Lopez is probably going to love this album. It may have been Jenny From The Block's dream to record a traditional Spanish-language album in the style of what she heard growing up, but for an artist who's always had her ear to the ground and one foot on the dance floor of current musical trends (this is a woman who once released a remix of a remix just to stay current by a few weeks), the album is shockingly middle-of-the-road.

Jennifer Lopez makes a full length spanish language album and forgets to bring the flavor of the language itself. Tepid and dull and lacking any sort of spice this is one of the years most disappointing albums thus far.

This is the sort of record that ruins foreign holidays.

La Lopez looks to latin pop on overblown, ballad-heavy Spanish-language release.

I think it is good that for once Jen is doing something different. She is doing what she loves and representing her heritage. Although its not my type of music, I still support her 100%. Keep it goin Jen! |

OK, it's a bit too "ballady" but it must be said that they are VERY GOOD ballads. A few up-tempo songs would have been good, but I still love this record. Just think of it as a "ballady moment" and then put on her other records for a bit of butt-shaking. |

The album is in my eyes jaw-dropping this really shows antoher side of Jennifer we havent really seen. I shocked by the negative comments people have to say to this extrourdinarily good album. I myself being hispanic am proud of what she has done i look up to her as a person of the latin community and her success makes me stornger and makes me belive that any hispanic can make it like she has. The album nontheless is very good. |

J.Lo is trying to represent herself with something she knows alot about it .. She made a very good record .. It's Mix between Mexican rythmes and rnb melodies .. What I like about the hit or the album generally that it's totally different from what Jen have done so far in music career .. Good Job J.Lo and Marc Anthony

I heard her song "Que Hiciste" on American Idol last week and it made me want her entire album. I bought one of her English language albums, but I prefer "Coma Ama Una Mujer" to her English endeavors. I love the realism of the lyrics and how passionate Jennifer is about each aspect of her music. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to get my hands on an official release copy. |

This album is amazing. I have always been a fan of J.Lo, she's wonderful. Although I understand only half of what the songs are saying, I still love it. I have every one of her cds; who doesn;t? |
