Johnson has always been at his best when he leaves behind the airy meditations and digs into silly pop gems ("Bubble Toes," anyone?), and he pulls it off with ease on songs like "People Watching" and "Upside Down." There's also a great cover of the White Stripes' "We're Going to Be Friends."

this album has everything from songs for kids to songs for adults. it bridges a gap between the generation that hasn't ben crossed in years. the abstract lyrics and over all composition of the music is mind blowing. |
