"Pop" is the operative word throughout the album; from the swayability of 4am Forever to the lyric of Broken Hearts, Torn-up Letters and the Story of a Lonely Girl, which reads like the problem page of Sugar magazine ("She's closed the book/ Jealousy has only got one friend/ And Joey's heart was never meant to mend"), the album is completely user-friendly.  Full text...

Liberation Transmission is the band's third album and it captures the quintet in life- celebrating mood as they cue up a succession of shiny, metallic rockers, custom-fitted with rousing choruses, chantalong backing vocals and enough energy to light entire stadiums.  Full text...

bob Rating: 3.0

i don't like how Lostprophets became emo.

boNt Rating: 10.0

they're bloddy rock!!!!!

Cotchin Rating: 10.0

amazing album, there best yet!!

Cath Rating: 10.0

Lostprophets rocks and they always will!

Tito Rating: 8.0

A good album but not as good as FSOP or SS.there emo.

Mike Rating: 4.0

definitively the worst album.
Mike Chiplin knew it too, so he left the band.
The Track new Transmission is not bad.
But i really don't like the lalala sing along or clapping hands
it's too ... pop-rock!
what happened to the alternative-metal like on the start something record?

zupilupy Rating: 10.0

is the best band, and the best disc ^^

Camila Rating: 4.0

Definatley not as good the fake sound of progress! that was the best! this album is too pop-rock...though everyday combat isnt bad at all. Not a good follow up

Zach Rating: 9.0

Not a bad album. Could be better. But I can't really complain.

Shan Rating: 8.0

Lost Prophets are a awsome band...start something was a better album then this one but this still rocks!

Jo Rating: 10.0

I loved the first two albums and I love this album. Bear in mind, how many bands could actually pull off changing from heavy metal to this? The Lostprophets are doing their thing and I LOVE IT!

lil' me xox Rating: 9.0

I think this albums awsome! its alot better then start something i think! i agree with the emoness - rooftops is not that good a song but cant catch tomorow is more like their original stuff! im gonna see then and i think they rock!

Derk Rating: 6.0

Argh, Its annoying because there first to albums were so AWESOME, how can a band change its derection this much.

Mai Rating: 10.0

bloody awesome album, very different from the fake sound of progress and start something but that isn't always a bad thing. who wants a band that churns out song after song that all sound the same?

Charlie Rating: 9.0

some incredible tracks but when "lil' me xox" starts liking the same music as me it means the music doesn't have the right impact. gonna make some good acoustics though :D

Spike Rating: 8.0

Good CD. Very new and different with traces of Start Something. Have to say SS and FSOP are Lil bit better.

Nick Rating: 9.0

Very good album, I don't see how some people call them "emo" THough I guess since their songs sem at least to me, to have some "emo"tion in them, then they could be called Emo, since it is short for emotional. I'd have to say that Broken hearts, torn up letters and the story of a lonely , and 4:AM forever are my favorite songs on the album.

Noname Rating: 8.0

awesome album but their older stuff was more orginial. as someone said before, they have started to follow the trend- emo, rather than hving ther own style.

Selina Rating: 10.0

The are still the same but i do like their old stuff was good but this album is better than any rock band i have ever heard because they are differnt and that is soo cool they need a new style that emo they need to create their on style that is wat is going to make them differnt and unique

Becca Rating: 10.0

I was never into Lostprophets but then I got this album and now im like obsessed. I’ve now listened to there other albums and the are absolute brilliant. I don’t get people who say that this album is crap cause it is obviously not. I just hope that Lostprophets carry on making music for years to come.
Lostprophets ROCK !!!! :P

Buck fifty Rating: 10.0

This record rocks! And to all you people called their first records heavy metal, you don't know what heavy metal is.

Geoff Rating: 10.0

None of my friends knew about the lost prophets until Liberation Transmission came out. It was their best album yet. I especially like how they can combine both emotional songs and fast paced, pump up songs in one album. "Wake Up" was their best song ever besides "Burn, Burn".

ame Rating: 10.0

Definatly one of their best albums next to start something. I think they've come along way and hopefully they'll continue to make great music, 10! =)

Anne Rating: 10.0

The first song I heard of them was last train home and I loved it. My favorites now are ride and burn burn. But liberation transmission is like their best album. I heart it!!

Kate Rating: 10.0

All the Lostprophets songs ROCK! Whether you're a dumbass and hate emo or not, I don't think they are emo.

joe Rating: 10.0

ok. first of all anybody who puts FSOP above this album..can knife themselves, for all i care. FSOP was more original, yes, but ian has come a LONG way with his vocals, along w/ the rest of the band. tho the overall metal sound is lesser, lostprophets never really was true metal. they dont sing metal. they never have. you might could call other songs 'screamo' but not metal. FSOP as said had a more 'metal' sound, but the overall the guitar work in this album is superior, with some actual guitar solos lostprophets hadnt yet brought to the table. (check everyday combat or 4 AM forever) lastly, its not like lostprophets is just following an 'emo' trend...if you watch their music videos, wat they are now is easily conceivable as a transgression of wat they used to be. and ian did get a haircut guys. it actually looks a lot like it used to. (check the music video for rooftops vs a town called hypocrisy)

Penis Rating: 8.0

well... i haven't heard crap off their first two albums... maybe 1 song from FSOP, but that's it. you guys all seem to like them though so i'll check em out... all i know is i like this album alot! 1 word: catchy! and they're not emo! maybe a little, but i'm an emo kid, so it's all good to me! Rooftops was punk-emo to say the least, but not emo in comparison to the classics (hawthorne heights and silverstein) but then again those bands don't really give the right idea of emo... we're not all little cry babies who sit around & cut ourselves, thats not what emo means... anyways, losprophets owns ur madre, and you all need to ACCEPT METAL AND POP-ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! along with indie, emo, punk, and anything else that can be classified as rock!

hmmm Rating: 9.0

this is a pretti gd album i rekon. nd emo? i dont think any1 reeli understands wt it means anymore evrythin is called emo now bt o wel... this album kiks ass bt start sumthin ws probably a litl bit beta

brad Rating: 10.0

Quality album all the song's are great love it

sofia Rating: 10.0

Lostprophets son lo maximo..!!!!! me encantan y no se me hace que sea tan pop!. La cancion que mas me gusta es la de Can't Catch Tomorrow es genial X3 y no son emo

adinda Rating: 10.0

lost prophets rock's and there's nothing you can do about it
ne ne nenene

Cat Rating: 8.0

I've gotta say, after seeing them at Reading 2004, performing their best album, that this is totally different. Scary how a band can change their direction in a few years. It's not a bad album, I was into their more rocky stuff, but this is listenable. Everyday Combat is a really good song, Rooftops is a fantastic song even though it's so simple, but there are a few tracks that let it down.

dav Rating: 7.0

Lostprophets reading 2001. That gig was quite simple immense, everyone was jumping, about 5000 people wanted to come into the tent to see these guy. The tent almost fell down, it was awesome. Now here we are, a lighter album, still get the sense on some tracks that they want to break from the whole pop theme, but generally i was fairly gutted. Even thier live shows have changed. Everyone just stands their playing their instuments and Ian jumps off the amps a few times but thats it.
LMAO@ ppl that say FSOP was metal....i like to think of it as..alternative/new wave, SS was posthardcore/rock and LT was..god only knows...pop/emo/pop-punk/rock?????

james Rating: 10.0

I dont see how all the other people don't like this album. It's easily better than fsop and ss, which are both great. Rooftops and 4AM forever are probably my highlights of the album, overall i think this album is probably one of the greatest rock singles ever.

sacha Rating: 10.0

lostprophets rock i love this album i never heard of them until they brang out rooftops i liked that heard there album and now i am gona go and see them
rock on ..............
i the whole album but my fav songs are everyday combat, can't catch tomorrow n always all ways

Xsd Rating: 10.0

Ther great peeaple say they think it wasnt that goog but there alot better than almost all the bands out there except Escape the fate but to me theres is no better band. And stop caring about the type if you like the album you like the album so dont hate it because people say its emo

Forrest Rating: 10.0

Liberation Transmission is easily their best album so far. What's not to like about? It just shows that, not only have they grown as people, but as musicians.
Lyrically and vocally, Ian has improved and has come a long way from FSOP and SS. And as for this "emo" thing a few people are talking about-Get real. Whatever you think emo is and who is emo is your deal. You can say the Lostprophets are emo now, but that doesn't make it true. I mean, think of it if they didn't try anything new-didn't experiment with different sounds and just stayed the same? It'd be a little boring, no? And these guys are one of the very few bands who could pull off coming from a sound like FSOP to Liberation. They're simply amazing musicians, writers and performers who I have a great deal of respect for.

emma Rating: 9.0

lostprophets rock for life and they always will who cares about if theyve changed there look or what ever they porduce really good catchy songs which stick with you for a very long time and thats awesome to have a band because more and more people catch on to the songs and more people will get to like them and basically anyone who says there emo your just labeling them theyve grown through the many years and they deserve to have better recongnistion to what they have already
rock on xxx

Mack Rating: 1.0

The fake sound of Progress was the best album I ever heard and then I hear something like this them turning Emo was the worst idea ever thought of the old stuff is the best and they need to go back to their style.

Megan Rating: 9.0

Not their best album but not bad at all. Start Something was in my opnion their best but this is a very close second. And the genre they have or haven't become doesn't matter as long as the music is good

BulletGurl Rating: 10.0

This Album is awsome- im going to see lostprophets on thurdays the 19th!!! whoo also speacial guests aiden and taking back sunday whoooooooo anyway yeh this album rocks.x

Kat Rating: 10.0

Best band. Yeah Ok not quite as good as FSOP or Start Something. But if you were a fan of lostprophets you wouldnt go off them just because their sound changed slightly. These songs might be radio friendly, but see them live I can assure you they are anything but.

Lil Rating: 10.0

I absolutely love this album, the other two were good, and all had their good songs which everyone will always love but this album has something about it and it so unfair that theyre being slated for having songs which catchy chorus' Cant Stop Gotta Date With Hate has been slated most, but this is my favourite, is it just me or do some of the critics remind you of whiny teenagers that want to seem more metal than they are?!
They were incredible live last thursday, and at leeds and reading this year will no doubt be amazing aswell, all i can say is roll on the new album and another trip to manc!
x

Pudge Rating: 9.0

2nd best album so far. Start Something is by far their best, but Liberation Transmition is right there with it. Starts strong and ends the same way. Awesome songs!

Ali Rating: 7.0

It does not beat start something (which is a "10") but it is still worth listening to. Great songs all the way through. And by the way, bob, Lostprophets did not go emo.

Noname Rating: 10.0

the album, liberation transmission, is amazing. the lyrics really get through to certain people in different ways. like, the song, rooftops, can get throuhg to alot of people, and beleive me it helped my friend get through alot. AMAZING ALBUM. GET IT.

Simon Rating: 7.0

It's good. But not that good. Ive stuck with LP since forever, and I still like them. But they've become a bit too soft. I liked the mix of like slow rock, and metal. They haven't really been a metal band, but some of their songs has been around there. This album is just to Pop for me. Bring the rock back !!!!

Chad Rating: 9.0

very good album! Rooftops is my favourite, it gets through to you very well. And it pisses me off that people see all rock bands that sing with a little emotion that is aside from hate that people call them Emo and start hating them. if these rock bands are emo what about all the pop groups like timberlake and spears? they all sing about sad things as well. just think about it and you'll get that people are NOT emo just cause of a few songs that are depressing

Cole Rating: 10.0

EMO!
OK Fair enuf!
but if you knew it after rooftops y listen at all!
i personally cnt se nything wrong with the album best of 2006 n yeh it has some emo moments but doesnt ervy artist its called lyrics!
n they gne pop so wot! its called a different sound they not gonna churn out the same thing!
youl se with their new album when tht comes out!
aving already atrocity i tell u kno it not exactly pop!
but tbf this album is excellent n no one can take tht away from it!
10 outta 10
