As the title suggests, Confessions on a Dancefloor is a return to her disco roots, although the Madonna of the 1980s was never quite this camp.

This is a record for checkered floors and smoky ceilings, or is that not what neo-discos look like?

It's alright, but not really original and lacks the catchiness of her old work. Also--seriously, she needs to grow up. |

First of all, I just LOVE Madonna in general. I was fortunate to work for a friend of her's back some years ago and actually got to hang with her for a bit. She is really brilliant and quite congenial. That's the first thing.
Secondly, I just adore this album because it is beat-driven and groovy in all it's ampage! Saw the concert, had to have this album to take me back to MY disco roots too! : ) |

This album has grown on me so much, it's almost spooky. After listening to it for the first time and thinking it was rather weak, I cannot tell you how AMAZING this release is. Very cohesive. Very well-crafted. In the same way Madonna loves to reinvent a world of classic fairy tales in her childrens books, she has manages to do the same for the days of disco. |

not bad...not the best though...once again, lack in originallity between a few songs such as "hung up" and "sorry". but i like "jump". my fav song by her is "ray of light" which is a few albums bac. |

Once again She makes the difference being one step ahead from any other pop artist! The idea of this non-stop beat in the whole album is what makes this record R E A L L Y A D D I C T I V E ! ! The best thing with this record is that you can either hear it in the morning to make your day or in the night to fall asleep! |
