Ne-Yo's album portrays real feelings through his lyrics; mixed with his natural voice that is triumphant in every song. It is great to finally have a male artist out there that can really sing. It is the best album I have heard in years that shows that he will be around for a long time. It is truly the first album that I have heard and thoroughly enjoyed every track immediately. Each song has a different theme and unlike other artist (such as Bobby Valentino) every track sounds different. Definitely a 10!

I am a huge Ne-Yo fan and I think this album deserves a strong 10. Although this album is somewhat like In My Own Words I feel as though he is being very consistent. The songs on this album are equally as strong if not stronger than songs on his first album. Dont get me wrong I still have my favorites on In My Own Words but I can honestly say that I rock to this album just as hard! You can relate to him on Because of You just as you could on In My Own Words. He tells a story and believe me he'll have your full attention. And for all the haters Addicted is for you. Great Job Ne-Yo Keep up the good work!!

Im really enjoying the album, the lyrics are really beautifull and real easy to memorises. This album is more personal than the other and he tells great story's in each song. Most of the songs i had to listian to it a few times to kinda get the feel, but certain songs like "say it" "go on girl" "Addicted" "make it work" and "do you" really stuck in my mind. I knew Neyo was gonna blow up when i first heard so sick and i still believe he'll be the most talented artist out there soon.

This is a great follow-up to his first CD, "In My Own Words". You often hear people say that when a new artist arrives on the scene, it is hard to top your first release. Well I feel in this case, NeYo has proved many wrong. One thing that is important in the music business is being consistent, yet different with each attempt. NeYo has done this with his second release. He is a very talented songwriter and this proves that he will be an integral part of the music scene for years to come. To all the haters..."stop hating" and appreciate the man for the talent that God has given to him to share with the world.

As much as we do enjoy Ne-yo and his all too accesible and catchy r&b/pop offerings, is it just me or are other people also having serious spouts of dejavu? The first track "Because of You" also the albums title is a clear prelude of the early micheal-esque flowances that are to come. Formulaic and overtly influenced by the era of his upbringing, this album is brimming with beats you could swear that you've heard before and at times cheesy and oh so familiar lyrics. Fundly enough, that is what makes this sophomore offering so likeable. Original no, but highly listenable yes. Dont get me wrong, I love Ne-yo just as much as the next r&b critic, but in terms of originality, you wont find it here. Ne-yo has not attempted to distance himself or his music from its predecessor but we still seem to smile upon hearing his melodic and catchy offerings.

Yea I got both of Neyo's cds and usually an artist does extremely well on their first cd and the one's after are shitty. But not Neyo. I love his 2nd cd a lot. Yal dont undastand that Neyo is here and he ain't going NOWHERE!!! I believe no mata what he does he'll be successfull in. He is very much talented. His lyrics are just so damn HOT!!
