Packed with enough chord, rhythm and time changes to confuse Tony Iommi, Pearls and Brass' songs are next-level stoner rock, like ADD-affected QOTSA that makes you wanna get so baked you'll pee in your blue jeans for fun.

They sacrifice listenability for complexity, and therein lies the problem.

From track to track, the same uninspired drumming, the same lazy bass lines, and, worst of all, no major riffage. Not even a little skronk or a dirty mistake.

This album is such a good one. It contains energetic guitar riffs and bass riffs. The drums are absolutely amazing. |

There's something wrong with anyone who thinks this album doesn't totally kickass. The songs are more complex than the first album, and like any kickass album, this one takes 2 or 3 listens before you realize how awesome it truly is. The riffage is extreme and 70s harmonized vocals are exceptional. Why can't there be more music like this today? |
