This album has taken saliva in a bad direction.  Full text...

Nobody’s going to miss them if they decide to disappear completely after this release, but it could be worse -– at least they’re not Nickelback!  Full text...

RollingStone Rating: 4.0

The fourth album from this Memphis quintet rocks like a m*f*r, tosses in atmospheric keybs and shimmery sound effects, and drops a couple of slow ones.  Full text...

The group is probably too far in to dig themselves out with any future releases, and that’s really a shame. All hail crass commercialism.   Full text...

I can´t belive you guys. This is Saliva´s best album so far. It´s much better than their previous realeses. It´s brilliant

Im undecided. I like Ladies and Gentlemen, but it does seem to get old. But so did MCR's Welcome to The Black Parade. What can you do, some hit, some miss, unfortunately, this was a miss. Good luck next time Saliva.

This is a great album. what the hell is everyone thinking. Blood Stained Love Story mixes all three Saliva albums into one, everything from Every Six Seconds to Survival of the Sickest. Everysong on this CD has its own identity. if you have the balls to criticize this CD, why don't you try getting a record deal and see what happens. I bet Saliva sells this CD more in one week then you will your entire life.

There might be some good songs and some bad songs. But I have to admit, this album is pretty good. The two really good songs I like that comes into mind is Ladies And Gentlemen & One More Chance. It may not be Saliva's best album. But it's still a good album.

Now hear me out, Folks...this opinion comes from a Progressive Metal fan (and musician): I think this album is the BEST to date from ANY band of this genre (Nu-Metal? Correct me if I'm wrong). I see hope in the future of Metal as a whole, when a band is willing to try NEW (as in nu) things! Sure, Ladies and Gentlemen is a little Arenaish, but it RAWKS! These guys are only growing, as we all do. If they stayed the same, y'all would get tired of them, and drop them fast. Give them a break, listen to the fine details, and give them Kudos for trying to grow with the music they so love. Either that, or start a band and do better...sheesh. I give it an 8 (which is better than what I give allot of the bands I listen to on THEIR latest efforts, due to repeating past songs over and over)

To be frankly honest, this album (and "Survival") is a disappointment. Coming from a huge Saliva fan who has been supporting this band since "Every Six Seconds" came out, I am really disappointed. I just really feel like they went through the whole "let's-try-and-get-this-alt-rock-radio-sound" phase with this album. And I hate to use the term "sellout" with this, because I know it's so cliche, but honestly... they did. Totally sold out. And it sucks. But... whatever. Best of luck to them.

i'd give it an 8...i sure wasn't expecting the slow "love" sounding songs. "Never gonna change" at the beginning sounded like the beginning of a fuckin boy band song. But altogether, band is amazing...i just think they should've stuck with their ROCK songs, like "Ladies and Gentleman" that is rock right there, pumps you up and thats what they are best at! Other than that, it's a gd cd

It wouldn't be considered a sellout album since Josey already did a song with the lead singer of Nickelback for the first spiderman album. Even Hollywood off their first album was slower but his voice kinda sucked then. He obviously took singing lessons and stretched his reach with this album. I hate when ppl don't let their bands try new material. Kid Rock's best song is "Only God Knows Why" but ppl get all pissed about a slow song from rock. These guys have mixed Nu Metal with some singing which is a great mix from a great band.
