The album is full of big hooks, bad attitude and charisma to spare. Songs like “Air Guitar” and “Fuck It Up” are made for big arenas, while cuts like “Kill The Pop Scene” and “King” give the band that hip, underground vibe that American music listeners like in their Britpop bands.

With their debut Blood Sweat & Towers, this quintet carries on traditions as well as combining today's newer styles and trends into the old standard middle-fingers-to-the-establishment cacophany. The result is anti-pop while using all of pop's best properties against it.

Blood Sweat and Towers may be young, loud and snotty, but it plays as real and deep as the band’s beloved air guitar.

If you're seeking a legitimate metal revival, I think it goes without saying there are better places to start.

It's only a matter of time before no one even cares enough to be annoyed by the guys in Towers of London, and the day they're not despised is the day they disappear.

I heared the album by the mereset accident, when I was at my friend's house and I was delighted. The songs are so energic, that is awesome. And how I am listening to it, the songs are getting in my head more and more. The combination of metal and punk is very good balanced. I think I didn't hear better album in a while. I especialy love 'King', 'Kill The Pop Scene' and 'Fuck It Up' but most of other songs are great too. That is the reason for my highest mark. |
