Not as good as the first album but still brilliant stuff... always gets a grin on my face, I must look like a looney singing along to tenacious D whilst driving around. billiejeanne, I really do wonder what kind of expectations you have from The D? the guys who in their previous album sang about sausages, rock squats and a fictional boy who lives a in castle made of clouds with telekinetic powers... and in Jacks other work he runs around kicking, rolling, sweating and red faced screaming in a high pitched voice... hmm... I know I got crazy high expectations... wonder if he could get elected president... maybe in the US.

an awesum album, even better then the 1st, n b4 u say it, i no da 1st album was legendary, but this goes beyond the call of duty, 2 deliver hard rockin metal where its needed, one flaw tho, its partially let down by "baby" but so was da 1st album, it was let down by "wonderboy", all in all a gr8 buy, jables n kage rock my socks!

I love this band. Utterly, truthfully love it. Nobody could take 'The D' seriously at first, but it's incredible how musically talented and humorous this duo is. For all your sore, lousy, over-serious square-assed computer junkies out there who think this album is stupid, lighten up. It's not even really an album-it's a soundtrack. Not only is it both funny and filled with catchy songs, it's still the same D that was released years ago. That's loyalty. This is a great CD, some of my favorites were 'Kickapoo', 'The Divide', 'POD', and 'The Metal'. Trust me, it's worth the buy.

This Cd might be the best cd I'll get for Christmas. Before I saw the movie, I didn't know what the hell Tenacious D was. When I saw a clip from Amazon.com, I really wanted to see it. When I saw the movie, the volume was raised to 100. I love this cd. My favorite song is, "Master Exploder."

Well i loved School of rock and the music from it. But it has no match for Tenacious D. This album is prefect, it makes you laugh and you can still rock out to it. Best of both worlds. Jack and Kyle really know what their doing and they really know how to f***ing rock. Long live the D!

This is the best Tenacious D album, they rocked my socks of more in this album than the last one.. Its really was worth the money. And the CD came in a nice book-box whith a facinating cover and some tarrots cards.. and a deamon-thing-thing. At the time my favourite song is: "Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown)" 10 !!!

Jack Black and Kyle Gass are geniuses. I have 2 daughters, aged 13 and 4. They are BOTH fans of the D. My 4 yr. old's favourite songs are Tribute, Wonderboy (which she calls the Mucky muck song), Baby, History of Tenacious D and Dude I totally miss you. I've been addictied to them like a drug since the day I heard them. A day hasn't gone by in 3 years that I haven't listened to them in my car. I was so excited when the sountrack came out. I bought it before seeing the movie...It was better AFTER the movie I must admit but a total work of art. The first album is brilliant and I listen to them both daily, over and over. It is music I can NEVER tire of. Every time I listen, I enjoy it just as much. People think I'm crazy when they see me rockin' out in my car. I am going to see them in Vancouver on the 20th of February and I am bursting with anticipation. Love you guys!!

What the hell is wrong with the mass media types up there? The D fucking rocks! I can't imagine there being a more magical rock band. The lyrics express the depth of a rocker. Thats how we talk, and thats what we talk about! The sounds they put out are hardcore, unlike many of todays emo bands. Their sound is for the truly hardcore fans of rock, not for the 'I wanna fit in' genre.

A lot better than the first album. It took a while to grow on me but i cant stop listening to it now. Also its probably one of the only real rock records out today. Track 1 with meatloaf is strongly comparable to the movie tommy. Awesome.
