An intriguing garage-rock thread runs through Wolfmother's songs, broadening their sound: One thrashing track, "Apple Tree," could almost be mistaken for the White Stripes. The album also has some of the tastiest fuzz-guitar tones recorded in years, and Jimmy Page-worthy chordal riffing, as on the mighty, Viking-horned anthem "White Unicorn."

The more you listen to it, the better it sounds.
I listened wolfmother´s album 27 times in 5 days and I´m still not bored. I´ts kinda like Led Zep.
Great band, hope the next album will be atleast as good as the first one. |

This is the first Band that i've loved, everytime i listen to them it sends a delightful chill down my body! They are saving GOOD rock thanks god! and this is only there first album wait and see what comes next... |

Finally a new band that actually ROCKS. not like this alternative crap. they have a 70's Zeppelin/Sabbath sound and its great. i cant wait til they put out some more songs! |

Wolfmother sounds mainly like a rip off of The White Stripes. If I hear the song "woman" one more time I'm going to go insane. The lyrics in that song basically have no meaning, he mainly just says "Woman" a bunch of times because he figured out that the way he says it "sounds cool". |

incredible riffs, solos and drums. For a first album it is overwhelming, just stunning. They know how to jam. |
